This tour departs in Bangkok, where we use a full day to shoot here, and head the next day to Yangon, the capital of Burma (Myanmar) we shoot mainly Architectural, monumental, landscapes, street and market scenes and portraits. Markets and Temples are the epicentre for Photographers and with world landmarks like the Temples of Bagan and the fairy tale like Inle Lake we do not miss out on the highlights of Myanmar. Sometimes we wake up early and have a late breakfast, sometimes we have the most amazing sunset and eat late, but you will have those amazing photos.

Arrival in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel, free stay in the afternoon and possibility to book an evening Phototour in Bangkok (not included about 80UDS)
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 2 ND DAY: 27 MARCH 2016 : FULL DAY BANGKOK TOUR
After breakfast we travel by minivan to discover Bangkok, first we visit Wat Arun, then the Royal Palace and of course Chinatown with it’s exotic markets. Evening Photoshoot @ Wat Arun. Please be prepared and well rested for this day as we cover many hours.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 3RD DAY: 28 MARCH 2016 : BANGKOK-YANGON – B
Departure early flight from Bangkok to Yangon.
Arrive in Yangon International Airport. Welcome and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Yangon. We then visit the Botataung Pagoda, head to Sule pagoda and take a walk up to the Scott Market and shoot Sule Pagoda again by dusk. Evening dinner in a restaurant where we have an amazing view over the city.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 4th DAY: 29 MARCH 2016 : Yangon – Bagan (By Flight)
After breakfast, early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan. Arrive Bagan and visit Sulamani temple and photograph monks in the temple. Check in hotel and prepare for the sightseeing. Sightseeing in Bagan include: Ananda Temple from AD 1090, Ananda Oykkyaung from AD 1137, U Pali Thein from mid- 13 Century. After lunch, visit family lacquarware workshops and photograph the beautfull sunset from the best views over the Bagan skyline. Overnight in Bagan.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 5th DAY: 30 MARCH 2016 : Bagan
Early morning , Sightseeing in Bagan: Shinpintharlyaung reclining Buddha to photograph the monks praying to the reclining Buddha, and lunch at restaurant. After the break, visit to Minanthu village and photograph the ox-carts and the temples. Sunset shooting around Tayoepyay temple. Overnight in Bagan.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 6TH DAY: 31 MARCH 2016 : Bagan – Mandalay (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Arrive in Mandalay airport. On the road to Mandalay, we’ll visit Palaik with over 300 stupas from 11 – 15 century. We’ll visit Palaik weaving factories and a monastic school. Proceed to Mandalay. Check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing: gold leaf making house, Mahamuni Temple and stone carving street. Drive to Amarapura and visit silk weaving factories. Proceed to Taung Thaman Lake with famous teak bridge, U Bein. We first walk on the bridge to shoot the locals and then head on a boat to get the most amazing pictures of the sunset on the bridge. Back to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 7TH DAY: 1 APRIL 2016 : Mandalay – Mingun – Sightseeing ( by Boat)
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to the Shwe Kyatyat jetty and sail to Mingun by boat.
We take photographs of the most amazing scenes in Mingun, a white monastery, the Hsinbyume Paya (Pagoda) and the Pa Hto Taw Gyi, a monumental uncompleted stupa began by King Bodawpaya in 1790
Then drive back to Mandalay. Visit Mahamuni Paya. Continue visiting of traditional handicraft workshops such as, marble carving, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda, which houses 729 marble slabs sculptured the teaching of Buddha, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery, which is the masterpiece of wood carving, etc. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City. Come back to hotel and relax. Evening shoot of the skyline of Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 8TH DAY: 2 APRIL 2016 : Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya – Kalaw (By flight/ By Car)
After breakfast, transfer to Airport and fly to Heho. Upon arrival to Heho, we drive to Pindaya sightseeing to the Pindaya Caves. Then proceed to Shwe U Min Paya. This is a cluster of low stupas just below the ridge near the Pindaya Caves. Then we proceed to Myin Ma Hiti Cave and a visit to Nee Paya at Kalaw (Bamboo Strip lacquer Buddha Image). The Kalaw Shwe U Min Pagoda is also worth a stop before we check-in at hotel in Kalaw. This was a popular hill station in the British days and it is still a peaceful and quiet place. At an altitude of 1320 m it is also pleasantly cool in every season. Overnight in Kalaw.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 9TH DAY: 3 APRIL 2016 : Kalaw – Inle Sightseeing (By Car/ By Boat)
After morning breakfast, we head to the Nyaung Shwe Jetty, where we board the boat transfer to Inle Lake and check in to Hotel. After taking a rest, we start the photography excursion on the Inle Lake. Visit to Indein pagodas, amazing old ruins covered by trees and bushes which are supposed to be old about 500 years, the floating gardens, Floating villages, Lotus-petal robe weaving looms and the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda-the most venerable pagoda on the lake, which houses 5 images of Buddha completely gilded, In Paw Khone village we observe silk weaving, the jumping cats monastery, etc. Overnight stay at the hotel in Inle Lake.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 10 TH DAY: 4 APRIL 2016 : INLE – HEHO – YANGON (BY FLIGHT/ BY CAR)
Full day Inle Photography, now on the second day we go off the beaten track and see mainly events that are not planned in advance (markets change daily so we wake up early to do some people photography. These markets are amazing for people photography as many tribes like the Pao-Oo people are selling and buying goods there.
PHOTO EXPEDITION’S 11 TH DAY: 5 APRIL 2016 : Inle – Heho – Yangon (By flight/ By Car)
Early morning boat ride to Nyaungshwe. Drive to Heho and flight back to Yangon. Shopping in Yangon. Evening visit to hotel and the downtown. Special visit to Shwedagon pagoda. Sunset photoshoot there where we study low light photography. Overnight in Yangon.
